My artistic journey began in a loose chic illustrative style and I am thrilled to be able to bring it back to life in a new and reimagined way. The simple designs that I sketched and watercolored at my dining room table have remained close to my heart through the years. Not long after graduating from Baylor, I worked for an architecture + design firm in Ft. Worth, Texas. It was there that I became fascinated with the “sketch.” Watching my bosses effortlessly create images that bring ideas to life made me want to pursue my version of it. I soaked up all the techniques they shared. I fell in love with Rapidograph pens, Pentel sign pens, crud paper and Chart Pak markers for starters. To this day I have a plentiful supply of each at my fingertips. Having always had my eye on a low-key life, I branded my first business, My Flip Flopz Laid Back Stationery. Why? Because I always wanted a job where I could wear…my flip flops. These designs are being reborn and will be available Spring 2026. Hooray and long live paper and the hand written note.
Stationery and paper goods will be available online summer 2026. You can currently find designs as I release them at my Studio Gallery 30A in Grayton Beach, FL. Beach Rides are currently available!
